GloProfessional Takes On Hair Care in 2012

New GloEssentials collection joins cosmetics and skin care portfolio.

GloProfessional, the creator behind GloTherapeutics skin care and GloMinerals cosmetics, is making a foray into the hair care category with a new 14-SKU collection for 2012.

According to the company, the “systematic collection” includes a comprehensive array of lightly scented shampoos, conditioners, styling and finishing products to target specific needs, resulting in strong, healthy and shiny hair.

“Our goal when developing the GloEssentials hair care line was to create products that embrace the same integrity of ingredients and performance as our skin care and cosmetics lines,” says Cat Tatman, director of marketing for GloProfessional.

The new hair care products’ formulations have been developed to include antioxidants, natural botanical extracts and essential fatty acids and are all color safe, provide UV protection, guard against heat and harsh environmental factors and do not contain any parabens or sulfates, said the company.The entire collection is safe for use with extensions and hair that has had smoothing/blowout treatments.

All shampoos, conditioners and the Reparative Keratin Leave-In-Treatment contain an exclusive MBP (Mineral/Jade, Botanical/Turmeric, Peptide/Quinoa) Complex, a tri-phase complex designed to topically fortify and strengthen the hair while also nourishing and protecting the scalp and hair follicle where the health of the hair originates.

Exclusive to the hair care professional and their clients, the GloEssentials collection will retail for $21-$38.All shampoos and conditioners will also be available in Back Bar sizes for $25-$29 wholesale.All products will be available at salons and spas nationwide and www.gloprofessional.com.
