In a world where everyone is trying to lessen their “carbon footprint” and go green, the New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists’ Supplier Day 2009 will help you do just that. The annual event will be held May 12 and 13 at the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison, NJ. According to Eric M. Bodnar, Supplier’s Day chairman, this year’s theme, “Innovate for a Greener World,” will help attendees learn new and innovative ways to create products that are not only beneficial to their customers, but also to the world at large. “Our ever expanding expedition will not only feature local vendors, but new this year, we will be hosting global representatives in the industry from South America, Europe, China, India, and beyond!” said Mr. Bodnar. With over 500 exhibitor booths this year, the New York Chapter’s Supplier’s Day retains its spot as the No. 1 raw materials show in North America for the cosmetic and personal care industry. With such a diverse group of raw material suppliers under one roof, it is sure to be an informative two days for all. Sponsorships for the New York Chapter’s Supplier’s Day are available. These sponsorship provides additional funds for shuttle bus services and enables the chapter to create and distribute a comprehensive DVD which will consist of exhibitors’ latest ideas and technologies. “This will help them to market their ideas and will give the chemists attending the show a reference to take back to the lab for future use,” explained Mr. Bodnar.
