Named after the famed NYC transit station, the beauty brand is set to debut at Henri Bendel this week. The S.M.A.R.T. Skin Perfecting Mask (named for its key benefits: Smooth, Moisturizes, Anti-Aging, Redness-Reducing, Tones) is a hypoallergenic, clinically-tested treatment product for all skin types, according to the company. Targeted for men and women aged 20-50, the mask is designed to provide a convenient and affordable spa-class experience for a broad consumer audience. The product reflects extensive market research and was co-created by a marketing executive from top luxury global skin care and beauty brands. “There was much consideration in the development of the packaging and naming of the product. There are custom molds developed for the packaging components to make sure the product is self-contained into a kit for easy usage. The product is much more of a home-spa experience,” says co-founder and co-creator Jackie Lee. “As for company name, we decided on Grand Central Beauty as New York is a beauty capital, and although ‘traditional,’ Grand Central is a classic icon with modern twists.
