Simonick joins company as vice president of quality.

Harmony Labs welcomed John Simonick as the vice president of quality. He will lead the quality organization including quality control, quality systems and quality engineering. Simonick’s experience includes most recently serving as the executive director of quality operations at Watson Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for all quality and risk-based decisions. He also served as vice president of quality systems for Mission Pharmacal and vice president of quality systems for DPT Laboratories. Throughout his over 30-year career within quality, he has served in progressive leadership roles assuming the responsibility for quality assurance, systems, validation and quality control functions. Harmony Labs is based in Kannapolis, NC and is a contract development and manufacturing organization for liquid and semi-solid Rx, OTC and cosmetic skin care products. The company operates 200,000 sq. feet of operations, and recently opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The company is privately held and has been in business since 1983.
