Head & Shoulders Tackles Dandruff with New Collection

According to a Head & Shoulders study, 50% of dandruff sufferers get sudden feelings of panic, 44% are worried about the impression they make on others and 60%+ of sufferers think other people find them unattractive because of it.
 
P&G’s Head & Shoulders is working to stop the stigma associated with dandruff with their new campaign #TakeBackYourFuture. This film follows real persistent dandruff sufferers and the emotional toll it has taken on them. At the end they find out they actually carry a dandruff gene in their DNA (as does 50% of the population), and it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

The Head & Shoulders Clinical Dandruff Defense Collection features eight in-and out-of-shower products formulated with a variety of ingredients, including 1% selenium sulfide, zinc pyrithione, manuka honey extract, menthol and citrus. The selenium sulfide provides 35% more dandruff fighting power, and it starts working 2x as fast to target the most stubborn dandruff.
 
Specifically designed to target the most persistent scalp problems, the lineup offers solutions for every dandruff sufferer, whether they’re dealing with dry scalp, intense itch or excess oil.
