Helen of Troy Continues to Licence P&G’s Vidal Sassoon Brand Name

Helen of Troy Limited, El Paso, TX, has extended its existing trademark licensing agreement for the Vidal Sassoon brand name. Executives said Helen of Troy and The Procter & Gamble Company have entered into a new long-term licensing agreement, including renewal options, which extends the agreement for a total of 30 years. P&G will retain rights to the Vidal Sassoon trademark.

Helen of Troy’s chairman, chief executive officer and president, Gerald Rubin, stated, “Over the years, we have developed a strong and mutually beneficial business relationship with P&G and Vidal Sassoon. For over 40 years, the Vidal Sassoon name has been synonymous with elegance, style, beauty and glamour. It is our goal to maintain these attributes in all of our products carrying the Vidal Sassoon name worldwide. Going forward, we expect to continue to expand our global market with the highly recognized and respected, Vidal Sassoon trade name.”
