Helen of Troy Elects Three Board Members

Helen of Troy Limited, El Paso, TX, elected three new board members at its annual shareholdermeeting held on Aug. 31.

“These three individuals have a total of 85 years of combined business experience in the areas ofmarketing, finance, accounting, business organization and law,” said Gerald J. Rubin, chairman,chief executive officer and president. “Their extensive knowledge and expertise in both the consumerproducts and business arenas will greatly benefit our company.”

Joining the board are Timothy F. Meeker, president and principal of Meeker and Associates, amanagement consulting firm in the consumer products industry. Mr. Meeker is also a formerBristol Myers Squibb executive. New board appointee James C. Swaim, a business and financialconsultant since 2003, formerly served with Security Capital Group Inc. and Farah Inc. Also, newboard member Darren G. Woody is president and chief executive officer of C.F. Jordan L.P., aninternational construction company. Previously, Mr. Woody was a partner in the law firm of Krafsur,Gordon, Mott and Woody P.C.
