Teams up with Elizabeth Gaynes for Strangelove nyc collection this fall.
October 7, 2016
By: Melissa Meisel
Strangelove nyc, the New York-based fragrance company founded by industry expert Elizabeth Gaynes with the creative direction of model Helena Christensen, is bringing its collection of artisanal perfumes to Bergdorf Goodman this season. The brand’s exquisite perfume oils and eau de parfums are handcrafted in small batches to ensure premium quality and authenticity. Sourced from exotic locales like Borneo, Madagascar, Mauritius and India, strangelove nyc uses some of the rarest natural oils and selected ingredients in the world, creating completely original scents that are long-lasting, extremely sensual and unquestionably unique. “Launching in Bergdorf Goodman has been my dream since I founded the company,” said Elizabeth Gaynes, CEO of strangelove nyc. “To be included in the perfumery of such an iconic store is truly an honor.” Pat Saxby, VP/DMM, Beauty at Bergdorf Goodman, added, “Strangelove NYC is a great match for Bergdorf Goodman. Not only because of the sophisticated scents and beautiful presentation, but also the brand's common link to New York City.” The company launched its two oudh-based scents, deadofnight and meltmyheart, this August. Prized for centuries for its deeply complex scent and aphrodisiac affects, oudh is a rare, aromatic resin from the ancient East. The fragrances are offered as both perfume oils and eau de parfums, packaged in opulent bottles with custom made 24kt gold-plated caps, designed using the famous Fibonacci sequence that has long captivated mathematicians, artist and designers alike. The oils may also be worn as jewelry with stunning 24kt gold-plated necklaces finished with decorative floral accents housing the precious fragrances.
