Herbalife Named Official Nutrition Sponsor of the Laguna Phuket Triathlon

Herbalife Ltd. has been named official nutrition sponsor of the Thai Airways International Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2005. The event will be held on Sunday, Dec 4, 2005, at the Laguna Phuket resort in Thailand. It is South East Asia’s premier triathlon and is expected to attract more than 700 participants globally. Last year’s winners were top triathletes Craig Alexander and Nicole Hackett, both representing Australia. Herbalife employees, independent distributors, friends, and families will be taking part as ‘Team Herbalife,’ either individually or on relay teams. The company will also stage a 6k fun run during the event. Those taking part in both events will be helping to raise money for the event’s nominated charity, the Child-Watch Phuket Association, which helps children at risk. The triathlon, now in its 12th year, is expected to attract thousands of spectators, including national and international media coverage.
