Lowering formulation costs is of paramount importance for brand developers. Formulators are striving to reduce solids levels while maintaining performance and consumer benefits. New formulation goals include reducing solids levels of the total concentration of actives or polymers and reducing or optimizing manufacturing cycle times to yield energy cost savings, reduced operations times and lowered inventory.
