High-Tech Additive For Laundry Formulations

Rhodia recently introduced Repel-O-Tex Crystal, a new high performance additive for formulating crystal clear, concentrated laundry formulations, according to the company. The technology creates a fiber protection that prevents soil deposition wash after wash, making it easier to remove tough stains and maintain fabric color and whiteness.

Repel-O-Tex Crystal is part of Rhodia’s range of soil-release polymers, Repel-O-Tex SRP6 and SF2, widely used for their cleaning properties in powdered detergents. These polymer additives are ready-to-use products for post-adding into new or existing consumer and industrial liquid laundry formulations, said the company. The polymer is effective on a wide range of synthetic fibers and cotton blends, and delivers effectiveness in stain removal and fiber protection.
