Hiruscar Anti-Acne Line Debuts in Malaysia

The Hiruscar Anti-Acne skin care range is available in Malaysia, where 90% of the population have faced or are facing acne problems. Hiruscar, created by Medinova of Switzerland, includes Pore Purifying Cleanser, Pore Purifying Serum and Spot Gel. The line is distributed by DKSH Business Unit Healthcare.


Hiruscar has been clinically tested to address mild to moderate acne conditions which include blackheads, whiteheads, papules and pustules. Its unique formulation effectively controls sebum secretion, reduces bacteria and dead skin cells while balancing skin moisture level and reducing acne recurrence.


According to the company, 85% of users who tested the Hiruscar Anti-Acne Spot Gel reported improvement within two days. Other findings include:

• 98% of testers were highly satisfied with Hiruscar Anti-Acne skin care range, reporting improvement within only one week of use;
• More than 94% of users who tested the Spot Gel saw improvement on comedones and pustules and 96% saw an overall reduction in acne occurrence; and

“There is a misconception that acne is the result of not cleansing the skin thoroughly and consumption of oily foods and chocolates. In reality, acne is caused by the P. acne bacteria that thrives on excess oil trapped in our pores,” explained Dr. Ch'ng Chin Chwen, consultant dermatologist, University Malaya Medical Center. “Excessive scrubbing only results in dry and irritated skin which might lead to more inflammation and even scarring. Therefore, it is important for us to educate consumers on the right method to relieve acne conditions.”
