The IFSCC has opened the competition for the Maison G. de Navarre Young Scientist Prize, an honor that allows for a young cosmetic scientist to attend an IFSCC Conference with the cost of travel, accommodation and registration fees covered by IFSCC. The 2011 winner will be invited to attend the 2011 IFSCC Conference in Bangkok, Nov. 1-3, and IFSCC will cover the cost of travel, accommodation and registration fees up to 6000 Swiss Francs. Any member of a society of the IFSCC, normally under the age of 35, may apply. All applicants should submit an essay of no less than 500 words on one of the following topics: • What is the social role of Cosmetics?
