P&G’s leading beauty brand and popular quiz show Jeopardy! are coming together this week to celebrate women in STEM. Olay brand representatives and ambassadors read will Jeopardy! categories of STEM-related clues in episodes airing today through Feb. 11. Lending their expertise will be: ● Reshma Saujani, CEO and founder of Girls Who Code; ● Erica Joy Baker, Engineer; ● Joy Buolamwini, Founder of the Algorithmic Justice League; ● Dr. Frauke Neuser, Procter & Gamble’s Principal Scientist (who is frequently quoted inside Happi); and ● Dr. Markaisa Black, Procter & Gamble’s Molecular Biologist. In addition, Olay has sponsored the Jeopardy! Anytime Test, the first step for contestants to apply to appear on the show. The Anytime Test can be taken (at any time) online at Jeopardy.com. This week, Olay is also releasing a special-edition space jar inspired by Olay ambassador Alyssa Carson, the world’s youngest astronaut in training. The jar went on sale on Olay.com on Feb. 7, kicking off Olay’s STEM week with a limited edition run of 1,000 Regenerist jars. The events coincide with Feb. 11, International Day of Women and Girls in Science. “Whether it’s competing on a television quiz show, teaching STEM subjects in the classroom or preparing to take a trip to Mars, Olay wants girls and women to see people who look like them in roles they aspire to one day hold,” said Lindsey Morahan, Olay North America communications director. “There are STEM role models all around us, and over the course of the next 10 years, Olay is making it its mission to ensure that more of those STEM role models are women.”
