● Patent No. US 6,608,013 B1: Colgate- Palmolive patented an improved preservative for a light duty liquid cleaning composition comprising a paraffin or a linear alkyl benzene sulfonate surfactant, at least one other surfactant, 2-bromo-2nitropropane- 1,3diol, a tetrasodium iminodisuccinate and water. The composition does not contain gluconic acid, ethylene diaminetetraacetate sodium salt, 5- bromo-5-nitro-1,3dioxane, any abrasives, silicas, alkaline earth metal carbonates, alkyl glycine surfactants, cyclic imidinium surfactants, alkali metal carbonates or more than 3% by weight of a fatty acid or salt.
