The Fragrance Foundation announced the official Indie nominees for The Fragrance Foundation (FiFi) Award.The nominated Indie brands represent the talented companies and individuals who created provocative new fragrances in 2012.The award — in its second year — recognizes creativity, artistry and the entrepreneurial spirit.The winner and five finalists will be announced by Elizabeth Musmanno, President of The Fragrance Foundation, at the annual award presentation hosted by Elements Showcase on Monday, January 28, 2013. “This Indie award celebrates innovation and I find it one of the more exciting areas in the fragrance industry today,” said Elizabeth Musmanno, president of The Fragrance Foundation.“The Fragrance Foundation is proud to support the efforts of these innovators.” “The Indie Brands are a driving creative force in the fragrance industry,” said Frederick Bouchardy, co-founder of Elements Showcase. “We applaud their artistry and contribution to our industry.” ”Indie” is defined as an established brand that has been on the market for at least two years, is not distributed or owned by a large company and is sold in 1 to 50 stores in the U.S. Below find the official 30 Indie fragrance nominees recognized by The Fragrance Foundation and the “Indie” Committee in alphabetical order followed by the marketing company.
