TRI (Booth No. 643) is coordinating studies designed to improve understanding of the competitive landscape as well as to lower costs and decrease turnaround time for our clients. In the benchmarking program, the technical performance of participants’ formulations is compared to controls which are believed to represent extremes associated with current commercially-available products.

This program highlights many of the instrumental techniques that TRI uses to characterize and quantify product effects on consumer-desired attributes, such as strength, softness, shine, manageability, and frizz prevention. Participants can evaluate their product side-by-side with current market offerings to screen new technologies or benchmark product performance, and receive deep discounts on the research. Topics for 2010 will include consumer products targeting increased volume, color protection, and natural ingredients. Please visit our website for more information.
