Injectable Composition Containing Keratin for Hair Growth

Patent details a therapeutic agent that inventors say can replace existing hair growth agents like minoxidil.

US Patent No. 12,128,130 B2 (Yu-Shik Hwang, Il-Keun Kwon, So Yeon Kim,  Se Young Van); Keramedix, Inc., Seoul, has patented a method of stimulating hair growth by injecting a pharmaceutical composition containing keratin in to a dermal layer or subcutaneous tissue.

The keratin is in a concentration of 0.01 to 2 (w/v)%, according to the patent literature.
