Inter Parfums’ Paris-based subsidiary, Inter Parfums SA, signed a worldwide 15-year license agreement with Lanvin SA to create, develop and distribute fragrance lines under the Lanvin brand name.

The Lanvin fashionhouse, known as a synonym of luxury and elegance, has a fragrance portfolio including Arpege (created in 1927), Lanvin L’Homme (1997), Oxygene (2000), Eclat d’Arpege (2002) and Vetyver (2003). Jean Madar, chairman and chief executive officer of Inter Parfums, said new line should be launched within 18 to 24 months.

“This agreement will give Lanvin resources to grow in the luxury ready-to-wear market while consolidating the work devoted to turning around fragrances which began two years ago,” said Sing-Ming Chu, chairman and chief executive officer of Jeanne Lanvin.
