Boucheron has a new fragrance partner. The jeweler and Inter Parfums SA have signed a global licensing agreement to create and manage new and existing fragrances under the jeweler’s name.

The 15-year contract starts on Jan. 1 and was announced Tuesday. It replaces the former license Boucheron had with L’Oréal, which was ended by mutual consent.

The first new Boucheron fragrance under Inter Parfums SA, the Paris-based subsidiary of Inter Parfums Inc., is to be introduced in 2012.

Inter Parfums’ portfolio of fragrance licenses includes Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Montblanc, Paul Smith, S.T. Dupont and Van Cleef & Arpels. The firm owns Lanvin Perfumes and Nickel.
