InterCharm Milano drew a big crowd in September. Organizers report attendance rose 40% to 28,161 visitors, who came from 78 countries, representing a 100% gain in the number of foreign visitors. Attendance got a boost from InterCharm’s “Meet the Buyer” program, an event which facilitated 495 meetings between 83 exhibiting companies and 19 buyers from international markets such as Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Middle East, North Africa, Norway, Holland, the Baltic countries, Poland , Romania, Russia, Sweden, Turkey and the US.

“The aim of this second edition was to focus on international, capitalize on the interest from foreign companies, thanks to widespread coverage by the Reed Group through its network of 34 offices worldwide,” said Solly Cohen, Reed Exhibitions Advisor for Italy. “And we are happy that this aim has been achieved: foreign visitors have doubled and we were able to attract the attention of markets of major interest like Poland, the Russian Federation, the Ukraine, Latvia, Greece, Switzerland and far-off Australia.”
