Jacob Holm Industries Installs Spunlace Line

Jacob Holm Industries, a producer of hydroentangled and composite nonwovens, announced plans to install “the most advanced spunlace line in the U.S.,” according to company executives. The 117-inch wide line will offer a 15K metric ton annual production capacity. It will provide exceptionally strong product characteristics in the Americas markets including new levels of homogeneity, superior embossing clarity, raw materials versatility and a variety of off-line after-treatment options.
The production line is scheduled for completion by mid-2005 and will be dedicated to industrial and hygiene fields, as well as wipes markets.
