British actress Felicity Jones has been named as the new spokesperson for Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up, according to reports. She will begin appearing in advertising for the brand in January 2012, a spokesperson for Procter & Gamble Prestige Products, which produces the makeup and fragrance lines under license from Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, told WWD.

Dolce & Gabbana The Makeup marks P&G’s first foray into upscale cosmetics. The line features eyeshadow, lipstick, face powder and more and is sold globally at prestige outposts such as Saks Fifth Avenue.

According to D&G’s website: “Inspired by the Dolce&Gabbana woman who surrounds herself with luxury and glamour, this is a classic range of must-have products. Pure metal gold packaging conveys harmony through the contrast of straight lines and soft, rounded edges. The collection’s palette is inspired by the richness of the Mediterranean, the glamour of Hollywood and the femininity of a woman.”
