Knowlton Development Corp. (KDC) won the inaugural Zemea Innovation Award from DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Company LLC. KDC’s Natural Zea deodorant stick platform took top honors. Zemea propanediol is a natural, 100% biobased ingredient made from corn sugar through fermentation and developed for use in the cosmetics and personal care market.
