Kobo of South Plainfield, NJ debuted a variety of new ingredients at NYSCC Suppliers’ Day. At the top of the roster of offerings: a collection of ingredients of natural origin as well as a concept featuring balanced UV protection—both in step with the latest trends.

By way of naturals, Kobo presented treated pigments for color cosmetics. Jojoba ester treatment  (NJE) features Kobo’s patent-pending process that enables pigment particles to be rendered hydrophobic. This treatment offers a creamy feel and ideal affinity to the skin. Due to their ideal pressability, these products are recommended for use in powders as well as emulsions for hot pours.

Other highlights in Kobo’s naturals include a hydrogenated lecithin treatment, silica treatment and agar treatment.

Kobo’s balanced UV protection features a UV Balance concept that was developed in order to safeguard the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. The company suggests that for every three units of UVB protection there is also one unit of UVA protection being provided in an SPF product. Make sure to check out Kobo’s UV Balance Sunscreen featuring TNP50T7 and TNP50ZSA.
