La Mer introduces The Eye Balm Intense, a groundbreaking eye treatment that helps accelerate skin’s natural renewal process to revitalize the fragile eye area, according to the company.

Nearly half a century ago, Dr. Max Huber conceived a revolutionary bio-fermentation process that transformed sea kelp, vitamins, minerals and other pure elements into a seaborne elixir with skin renewing properties so transformative in nature that he named his creation The Miracle Broth.

At the heart of the new eye balm Intense is a triple concentration of La Mer’s Miracle Broth. Three unique forms—the original, a concentrated version and an encapsulated, time-release form—provide a cooling sensation on contact, then penetrates into the skin to help accelerate skin’s natural repair, renewing skin’s integrity. At the core of the product is Marine De-Puff Ferment, an “energy-rich” Deep Sea Red Algae.

A “cooling” silver-tipped applicator helps stimulate micro-circulation, working in synergy with The Eye Balm Intense to help aid in de-puffing.

The Eye Balm Intense will be available in October 2010 for $145 at select Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and www.lamer.com
