New Horizons is the Household and Commercial Products Association’s triennial cleaning industry event. It brings together experts from industry and academia to discuss future trends and technologies, as well as engage in workshops that go beyond the basics of formulation and regulation.
New Horizons 2024 will take place at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville, Asheville, NC, September 30-October 3, 2024.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Jeremy Frey, professor of physical chemistry, University of Southampton. Frey is a physical and digital chemist, with interests in promoting interdisciplinary research across the physical and life sciences – from laser spectroscopy and imaging to computational modelling and digital chemical duals. He is heavily involved in the UK e-Science program (the CombeChem Project), which, along with his role in the Digital Economy program (IT as a Utility Network+), led to his role as PI of the AI for Scientific Discovery Network. He is a co-I on the Physical Science Data Infrastructure project, Physical Science Data Science Service, and the AIchemy AI Hub. His most recent project, which evolved from a Basic Technology funded project to now working with the Rosalind Franklin Institute (RFI), is to further develop the laser-driven high resolution soft x-ray microscope for biological imaging in the water window.
