Laurent Marteau Appointed L’Occitane Group Managing Director

The past member of the Board of Directors for La Prairie Group worked for the LVMH Group for 15 years in various senior management roles and countries.

The L’Occitane Group has appointed Laurent Marteau as group managing director effective Sept. 1. 
 
Marteau will report to Vice-Chairman and CEO André Hoffmann.
 
“We are delighted to welcome Laurent to further drive our transformation into a global, multi-brand group,” said Hoffmann. “His in-depth knowledge of the global beauty industry will be a real asset to accelerate our long-standing omni-channel strategy in our key markets.”
 
Marteau comes with over 20 years of experience in the global beauty industry. He worked for the LVMH Group for 15 years in various senior management roles and countries, before joining La Prairie Group in 2014 as vice president for global travel retail and special channels and becoming a member of the Board of Directors in the same year. 
 
In 2020, he expanded his responsibilities and was made vice president for Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa. He graduated from IEP Lyon and EM Lyon Business School.
