LeBaron Brown Buys AIC

LeBaronBrown Industries has acquired a majority interest in American International Chemical, Inc., the specialty chemical and ingredient distributor based in Framingham, MA. A purchase price was not disclosed.


AIC joins Charkit Chemical, which LeBaronBrown acquired in June 2017. AIC's management team, led by President and Founder Mike Schrage, will continue to manage the business.


“The investment puts AIC in the best position for future growth, building upon the success of our dedicated AIC team,” explained Schrage. “We are excited about our future and the partnership with LaBaronBrown.”
