Lipotec Debuts Anti-Aging Ingredients

Lipotec added a new anti-aging source to its wide range of molecular actives. Relistase is a tetrapeptide identified from a combinatorial peptide library, which offers an innovative molecular solution to increase skin resilience, according to the company. By inhibiting the excess of elastase activity, it improves body skin elasticity and tightness.

The supplier also recently released dGlyage, which prevents DNA structure changes triggered by the excess of transition metals ions, avoiding the ROS formation by Fenton reaction, said the company. Transition metals, as cooper and iron, participate in oxidative stress as responsible for the formation of reactive and harmful species and in AGEs (Advanced Glycation Endproducts) formation, contributing to DNA damage accumulation.
