L’Occitane Group Appoints Mark Edington General Manager

Edington will oversee L’Occitane Group Travel Retail activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Americas (EMEA).

Happi International Top 30 Company The L’Occitane Group has appointed Mark Edington general manager, travel retail, Euope, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective immediately.

In his new role, Edington will oversee L’Occitane Group Travel Retail activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Americas (EMEA). He will be responsible for accelerating market share, strengthening customer engagement, enhancing the group’s retail presence and developing strategic initiatives that support the company’s long-term global vision.

Key Positions at Dior, Burberry and Beyond

Edington brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in modern luxury and lifestyle brand management and retail. He held senior global commercial and business development roles across the beauty, fashion and premium spirits sectors. His career includes key positions at Dior, Burberry and most recently Aesop, where he served as brand general manager and global director of business development.

During his time at Aesop, Edington successfully increased business development across global channels, including travel retail, built strategic partnerships in hospitality and aviation, and integrated regional operations into the L’Oréal Luxe structure, contributing to scalable growth and enhanced brand positioning. His earlier tenure at Burberry saw him oversee travel retail and key international markets, delivering double-digit growth and brand elevation through distributor, retailer and operator partnerships.
