In this new role, she will be leading this function across the Americas, sharing key recruitment strategies, leading talent identification, supporting countries in their advancement of tools, expanding best practices, and focusing on the development of talent acquisition teams and recruitment skills across both campus and experienced hires to achieve our critical business growth objectives in the zone. This group represents the “best and the brightest” external hires, driving innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship with a strategic focus on the future business growth of the global L’Oréal group. She joined L’Oréal USA in 2000 as manager of package development on L’Oréal Paris, and in 2003 took on responsibility for cosmetics development. In this newly created function, she had responsibility for both new launch project management and package development. In 2004, Banerjee became the assistant vice president of development for the Professional Products Division; following, Banerjee was promoted to vice president, development for Maybelline NY and Garnier in 2006. In this role, she built and led a strong and diverse team with responsibility for global new product launch management and ongoing product/package improvement for both brands. Prior to joining L’Oréal, Banerjee spent nine years with three other Consumer Products organizations at Colgate-Palmolive, Estee Lauder and Bristol-Myers Squibb Worldwide BeautyCare.
