Luxe Pack NY Will Be Bigger Than Ever

The next edition of Luxe Pack New York, the luxury packaging trade exhibition in its 9th year, will be the largest event to date, with an additional 10 exhibitors scheduled to participate. The show, which sold-out five months before its opening, will be held May 18-19, at The Altman Building and Metropolitan Pavilion.

To assist visitors in locating the suppliers that specialize in their market, Luxe Pack is launching three specific tracks – Beauty track, Wine & Sprits track and the Fine Foods track.Exhibitors in each track will be identified on the floor map at the show.

“Luxe Pack New York is the event that helps brands and designers develop their creative packaging, with all the resources needed under one roof.The launch of the new specialized tracks will allow visitors to quickly identify the suppliers they need to see, while still enjoying the creativity and inspiration provided by those exhibitors in other tracks,” said Nathalie Grosdidier, executive director, Luxe Pack New York.

Compelling seminars and special displays will again be a primary attraction at the two-day event.Internationally recognized designer Marc Rosen has organized a panel discussion -“The New Packaging Paradigm” – with Nick Gavrelis, VP Global Product Development, MAC Cosmetics; Linda Levy, New panelist; Nick Gavrelis, VP Global Product Development, MacCosmetics; Linda Levy, of Macy’s; among others, at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 18. At 4 pm the same day, Beauty Packaging magazine presents“The Allure of Luxury: Why Innovative Packaging continues to Drive Sales of some of Beauty’s most Prestige Brands,” with Scott Widro Vice President of Manufacturing and Materials Management, Chanel; Allan Hafkin, Vice President, Global Package Development, Estee Lauder and more.

At 10 am on Thursday, May 19, Marianne Rosner Klimchuk, Associate Chairperson, Packaging Design Department, Fashion Institute of Technology will present “Design as a Strategic Advantage,” followed at 11 am by a panel organized by Package Design magazine – “Emerging Marketing Trends In Wine & Spirits using Packaging to impact the market” – with Rob Wallace from Wallace Church, and others. At 3:30 pm, Jeff Falk, senior editor, GCI Magazine will moderate a panel of exhibitors revealing their latest innovations.
