In response to the devastating fires ravaging the City of Angels, Mama Sol, a Los Angeles-based skincare brand, says it’s committed to giving back via a community-driven relief effort.

The brand’s 100% Mineral Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 30 is a lightweight, daily facial sunscreen enriched with niacinamide, green tea extract and vitamin E to soothe, protect and hydrate.

Known for “clean,” reef-safe and 100% mineral sunscreens, Mama Sol products work to protect skin from harmful UV rays while shielding the body’s largest organ from environmental stressors like poor air quality caused by the fires.

Now through February, Mama Sol will donate 20% of proceeds from every product sold to families in the community who lost their homes in the Altadena Fires. These donations will go directly to the most underfunded GoFundMe campaigns, to provide meaningful support and ensure help reaches those who need it most, officials said.
