Mary Kay has been awarded two new patents for compositions that treat wrinkles in skin. In US Patent No. 11,911,494 B2 (Tiffany Florence, Michelle Hines, David Gan, Wanli Zhao); Mary Kay, Inc. has patented a method of firming a person's skin by topically applying a composition that contains Commiphora mukul resin or an extract thereof that includes oleo gum resin, glycerin, water and hyaluronic acid or a salt form thereof. In US Patent No. 11,911,635 B2 (Tiffany Carle, Bob Foley, Julia Collier, Wanli Zhao, Geetha Kalahasti), Mary Kay has patented a method of treating skin with a fine line or wrinkle by topically applying an oil-in-water emulsion composition that contains a hydrolyzed algae extract comprising exopolysaccharides from Halymenia durvillei; and and a saccharide isomerate comprising an exopolysaccharide synthesized by Vibrio alginolyticus.
