HCPA Maximum Incremental Reactivity Webinar Set for Aug. 8

Event will educate attendees about photochemical reactivity and how it will impact the consumer products industry in the future.

The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA)'s latest webinar will be held on Aug. 8 from 1-1:45 pm. It is called “Maximum Incremental Reactivity (MIR): “What Is It and How Does It Relate to VOC Regulations?”

Nicholas Georges, senior vice president, scientific & international affairs, HCPA will be the keynote speaker.

Photochemical Reactivity

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is responsible for regulating the volatile organic compound (VOC) content in consumer products in California. For more than 30 years, the consumer products industry has worked with CARB to establish these standards, which are used as the baseline across the country.

As CARB prepares for its next rulemaking, Maximum Incremental Reactivity (MIR) will become a focus of many conversations, according to HCPA.

In this webinar, HCPA will educate attendees about photochemical reactivity, how it’s used today and how it will impact the consumer products industry in the future.
