Micro Powders (Booth No. 312) is introducing several new products at Suppliers’ Day. Aquascrub is a new line of non-irritating exfoliants produced with oxidized polyethylene for better stability in aqueous systems. These exfoliants are available in three particle size distributions allowing the formulator to select the appropriate amount of abrasiveness for the formulation. The particle size has been carefully controlled to ensure batch-to-batch uniformity. Microslip 608 is a new modified PTFE that is specifically designed to efficiently increase the SPF of sunscreen formulations. The PTFE has been homogenously modified with TiO2 to provide a unique and efficient SPF enhancer. The Microslip 608 will also greatly enhance the ease of application and texture while reducing the playtime of the formulation. Microspersion 627PC is a new dispersion of our Micropoly 1160S and other fine powders that will provide a unique soft focus effect to personal care formulations. It is designed to allow for easy incorporation of fine powders and also provides a distinctively unique after-feel and ease of application.
