Moroccanoil, Zotos Settle Differences

The Moroccanoil group of companies and Zotos International, Inc. have resolved certain disputes, which included litigation in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Moroccanoil sued Zotos for trademark and trade dress infringement and unfair competition in relation to Zotos' Luxe Majestic Oil argan oil products. All proceedings between the parties will be discontinued, according to a release from Moroccanoil. The release further stated: “The parties have expressed satisfaction with the resolution, which they believe will protect their respective intellectual property, commercial interests and marketing goals.”
