Nars Celebrates Man Ray

François Nars draws inspiration from the late artist Man Ray for a giftable and collectible range of beauty products. As a makeup artist, Nars studied the models in Man Ray’s photographs for the shape of a lip, the strike of eyeliner, the space where rouge began and ended, and the way it all worked in contrast to the porcelain veneer of skin. The collection features limited edition color and gifting ideas with alluring shades, textures and tones that evoke the “Surreal Appeal” embodied in some of Man Ray’s most iconic images.
