NCH Corporation today reported sales and earnings for the quarter and nine months ended January 31, 2001. For continuing operations, net sales for the quarter ended January 31, 2001 were $159.0 million compared to $178.1 million reported last year. Operating income was $9.2 million compared to $13.9 million last year. Income from continuing operations for the quarter was $7.7 million compared to $8.2 million in the same quarter last year.For continuing operations, net sales for the nine months were $504.0 million compared to $532.8 million reported last year. Operating income was $36.1 million this year compared to $37.9 million last year. Income from continuing operations for the nine months was $27.8 million compared to $20.9 million reported last year.
