Presperse introduced a new active ingredient for sebum control called Panadoxine P, which is pro-vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 plays an important role in skin health: deficiency of Vitamin B6 causes skin inflammation, swelling, misbalance in metabolism of proteins and fats. However, Vitamin B-6 is extremely photo-unstable and cannot be used in topical formulations. According to Presperse, Panadoxine P has superior stability, overcoming the photo-stability issues of Vitamin B6, making it an excellent choice for skin care formulations.
