New Appointments at Farouk Systems

Farouk Systems hired Beverly Zunke as shows and education director and promoted Alma Lopez to education manager. As part of her duties, Zunke will oversee the day-to-day operations of Farouk Systems shows and scheduling around the world as well as the educational needs of the Global Artistic Board and educators. She will work closely with Lisa Marie Garcia, vice president of Shows and Education, to coordinate events and programs.

Prior to her appointment, Zunke—with over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry—began her career as a stylist in England. She has also served as a stylist, educator and regional education manager for various manufacturers such as Schwarzkopf Professional, Goldwell and KMSCA (Kao Corporation), to name a few.

Meanwhile, for the past eight years, Lopez served the company in various roles including technical advisor, education coordinator and now, the company’s education manager. She will be responsible for all educational events sponsored by Farouk Systems.

Lopez’s background includes various aspects of the beauty industry for over 15 years as well as expertise in beauty education such as salon stylist, Farouk Systems Certified Educator, assisted with backstage stylist support for Farouk Conferences, meetings, shows and social media/PR events.
