Sederma proposes a new concept for skin moisturization based on the cosmetogenomic progress. According to the company, Revidrate is the first moisturiser that regulates the genes enabling the skin to recreate its own natural moisture.

The ingredient stimulates two enzymes involved in the filaggrine metabolism to synthesize the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF). Moreover, the neosynthesis of intracellular glycerol has been confirmed. It reinforces the corneocyte envelope (synthesis of involucrin, transglutaminase and tight junctions), and the intercellular cement by lipid production (ceramides and cholesterol) ensuring the skin barrier function. It is based on a complex lipid that mimics the effects of sphingosine-1 phosphate (S1P), a natural bioactive phospholipid, known for its function on the epidermis maturation and filaggrinase stimulation.

Revidrate timulates all strategic molecules in and outside the cell for better moisture and improvement of the barrier. Its strong moisturising power is especially designed to educate the skin to recreate the epidermis hydrosphere using its own natural process.
