New Director of Formulation Development at DPT

DPT Laboratories named Jason Vaughn as director of formulation development. He previously was vice president of operations at PharmaForm, LLC. Vaughn will oversee pre-formulation development, formulation development and commercial support activities to include raw material sourcing, API compatibility with excipients, stability of API and factors affecting stability, method development and transfer, API characterization, formulation and packaging compatibility, informal stability/formulation stress testing, antimicrobial effectiveness testing, rheology/viscosity and formulation container closure compatibility assessment.
