New Skin Care Actives from ROVI Cosmetics

Rovi Cosmetics is launching two actives targeting skin issues such as hyperpigmentation and impure skin.


UniTone, a whitening active, is proven to effectively inhibit tyrosinase activity and reduce the intra- and extracellular melanin content. After only two weeks of application, it achieved excellent in vivo results in reducing the melanin content by 95.5% in both the stratum basale and stratum spinosum, according to Rovi. The effect is attributed to the Ineocell technology which delivers the active directly into the cells.


Herbapurifine, an Ecocert-compliant active against impure skin, is proven to inhibit pro-inflammatory proteins. Furthermore, it reduces skin efflorescences by 35.5% and sebum production by 20% in four weeks while relieving itchiness and leaving a soft skin feel.
