Silab (Booth No. H300) is highlighting a range of active ingredients for skin care products during In-Cosmetics. Cohesium reinforces the cohesion of the upper layers of the epidermis by tightening the intercellular junctions, thus restoring the barrier function. Cohesium triggers the formation of tight junctions by increasing the synthesis of claudins-1 and zonula occludens. It also increases the level of Natural Moisturizing Factors, which act as biological humectants in the stratum corneum.

Pro-Lipiskin boosts all stages of the flow of epidermal lipids, thus restoring the lamellar lipid cement that forms the permeable barrier of the epidermis.Derived from a yeast, Pichia anomala, the material is recommended for all care products that restructure the barrier function.

Finally, Zenicyl oligopeptides are obtained from germinated millet seeds. The material promises to rejuvenate stressed skin by restoring the expression of biological markers damaged by aging, correcting the impact of emotional stress on skin parameters, improving radiance and illuminating the complexion and visibly reducing wrinkles.
