New SVP & General Counsel at Swisher

Lichtenberger has experience at Goodrich and the SEC.

Swisher Hygiene Inc. appointed Vincent Lichtenberger as its new senior vice president & general counsel.

“We are excited to have someone of Vincent’s caliber join the Swisher Hygiene team and function as our corporate governance and public company compliance director, as well as being able to assist with future transactions,” said Steven Berrard, chief executive officer of Swisher Hygiene. “Vincent’s experience with mid and large cap public companies will be invaluable for us as we eventually move forward to take advantage of the abundant opportunities our business model provides to make quality acquisitions and cross-sell to existing customers.”

Lichtenberger has 22 years of legal experience, including over 15 years as counsel of various US public companies. Prior to joining Swisher Hygiene, he served as senior counsel & assistant secretary since 2006 for Goodrich Corporation, an aerospace manufacturer recently acquired by United Technologies, where he was responsible for Goodrich’s corporate governance and public company compliance, as well as legal counsel for various corporate transactions. Prior to Goodrich, Lichtenberger was senior corporate counsel & assistant secretary from 1997 to 2006 at auto manufacturer BorgWarner, Inc. Previously, he also worked for several years at the Securities and Exchange Commission.


He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School.
