Nice-Pak’s new wipes manufacturing facility in Wigan, U.K. is nearly complete, according to a report in Wigan Today. The new facility reportedly represents a €40 million investment for Nice-Pak and will replace an older facility located in the area. Construction on the new site began in June 2015. The building work is nearly complete and one wipes production line is already operational, according to reports. All 185 existing employees will be transferred to the new site, which will broaden the company’s manufacturing footprint in the U.K. In Europe, Nice-Pak produces more than 650 million packs of wet wipes annually.
