Nominations are being accepted for the PCHi Fountain Awards 2026. The Awards recognize outstanding innovation in personal care and cosmetic ingredient technologies. The Awards will be presented alongside PCHi 2026, March 18–20, 2026 at the Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center. Companies and formulation professionals can submit their most innovative achievements for consideration.
The awards were launched in 2010 as the China Personal Care & Cosmetic Technology Innovation Awards and renamed the PCHi Fountain Awards in 2017. They celebrate groundbreaking products, technologies and individuals shaping the future of personal care. The Awards symbolize PCHi’s mission as the “Source of Beauty, Choice of Excellence,” underscoring their role in championing innovation across the global personal care community, according to Reed.
This year, the Awards introduce the Cosmetic Ingredient Registration Number as a reference for submissions will add further clarity. Optimized product categories align with current industry priorities. The judging process has also been enhanced to maintain its fairness, transparency, and rigor.
The judging panel includes experts from industry associations, senior executives from leading companies, renowned academics and members of PCHi’s Cosmetics Science & Technology Innovation Committee (CSTIC). Entries will be assessed across multiple dimensions, including structural and process innovation, market applicability, toxicology and safety, sustainability, intellectual property and technical merit. To ensure fairness and impartiality, the Fountain Awards jury rotates annually and adheres to a strict evaluation process.
“The Fountain Awards captures the spirit of innovation at the heart of PCHi. Each year, they shine a light on the creativity of companies and individuals while recognizing breakthroughs that are redefining personal care. By celebrating these achievements, we hope to encourage the industry to keep advancing ingredient technologies and formulation science,” said a spokesperson.
Nominations can be made via the Exhibitor Manual portal, with forms available in both Chinese and English. Exhibitors should submit their entries before 11:00 pm (GMT+8) on December 12, 2025, and the list of finalists will be announced in February 2026.
