The first, LuxYOUry, captures the consumer’s move toward lifestyle choices and experiences over objects. As Noveon notes, the ultimate luxury is to have time to rest and experience extravagance on your own terms. As a result, high perceived value is critical to attracting and retaining the consumer. Noveon offers a range of multifunctional ingredients that enable formulators to create products that match the new definition of luxury.

The second macrotrend, Conscious Consumerism, demands that personal care products be formulated using responsible processes, actives and ingredients that deliver safe products that respect the environment. Noveon can help formulators incorporate sustainability and wellbeing into their products.

The final macrotrend, Identity 2.0, allows consumers to create and exhibit new identities and constantly reinvent themselves. As a result, there’s a growing demand for men’s grooming products, mild products for babies and new mothers and anti-aging systems for baby boomers and older consumers.
